Beginning V

Thou art upright, standing in the center of a stone circle atop a small hill.

All about thee lies a fertile and rolling land dotted with little groves of densely-growing trees, and between the leaves of these, glinted hints of many slow streams winding their way westward across the gently sloping landscape.

The ancient and storm-beaten stones of the henge cast long shadows across the grass in the late afternoon light.

A path runs northward, down the hill, towards a large walled mansion that towers in the distance. The path appears to meet a road coming from the south west that crosses another small river and enters the property of the great edifice.

1. Descend the path and approach the Mansion.
